At the age of 12 he discovers an underground Franco-American scene in Germany then gets closer to Eastern Europe musical influences. At 16 he arrives in Strasbourg and composes his first tracks. Two years later, he creates T-Kaï Cee and will perform locally for about 2 years with this collective (La Laiterie with Psy4 de la Rime, Summer Session with Killa Kela, etc.).
In 2006, Dooz Kawa encounters worldly renowned gypsy prodigy and local star Bireli Lagrène ; out of their strong friendship come out several tracks. In 2007, he bonds with Bireli for his concert at Cheval Blanc in Schiltigheim. There he meets gypsy guitarist Mito of the long Loeffler lineage, who will take part in the album "Étoiles du sol". To these collaborations add up in 2009 the one of Mandino Reinhardt for a colourful cover of the title track of movie Swing, by director Tony Gatlif, shot in Strasbourg, and to appear on the next opus.
