H-Burns

Recorded at the heart of the Alpine Winter, 3rd album by H-Burns cleverly walks the impetuous paths of indie rock. During the 11 tracks of We Go Way Back, the passionate journey grabs you, and the electrifying 90s revival simply talks to the teenage riot deep inside you. This loving madness that leads to sentimental irrationality. Crazy desires. The unstoppable rush to passionate choices, the visceral urgency of sudden change. The sick inertia of the adult world you just want to end. To burn. No matter if we get burnt, at least we will have lived.

Following the success of their 2 previous albums, H-Burns decide to explore new horizons, while remaining faithful to their so personal universe.

At the crossroads between Pavement and Smog, the record benefits the talented touch of producer Jp Maillard. With Stéphane Milochevitch (Thousand and Bramier)on drums, Antoine Pinet on guitar and Jonathan Morali (Syd Matters).

Not forgetting the remarkable presence of Tony Dekker (Great Lake Swimmers) and his voice from beyond the Atlantic, Renaud's song writing completes this musical adventure perfectly.

« It's better to burn out than to fade away » sang Neil Young in 1979, the year Renaud was born. 15 years later, Eddie Vedder claimed in Vitalogy that all sacred things come from youth. In 2009, H-Burns proudly take over with their teenage rage, passion, proclaimed sincerity and electric melancholy.
