An genuine "idée fixe" (obsession) :
ID-FIX is created in August 2004 : a resolutely Rock music serving lyrics reflecting life, feelings and a vision of the world. One concert after other, the band has forged its own identity.
2005 : 1st 5-track EP « Face au vent » and 2 tracks on compilation « Responsabilité partagée » (AIDS fight project). Acoustic sessions a various radios.
2006 : focus on writing new songs, winners several battle of the bands contests (Effervescence Magazine, Festival Pruneau Show).
2007 : record, auto-produce and release 13-track début « Connexion ». Great critical acclaim from the press. Support show for Yannick Noah and live report on French TV channel France 3's news show 19/20.
2008 : video for « Sors de ta cage » by Stéphane Mondino (Dinoz Clip Indé) followed by a series of gigs all around Bordeaux (Rockshool Barbey, RTL2 PopRockTour at La Médoquine, Espace Tatry with Quebec band « Les Trois Accords »). « Happy Rock Hours » gets aired on Virgin Radio. Support gig for Louis Bertignac at a festival. Winners of Battle « You rock You win » with showcase at Total Music (Paris).
2009 : concert at La Locomotive, Paris. ID-FIX is part of the « Compilation against Cancer » produced by label Composit Music and is thereafter signed on the label. Others battles are won, others great gigs follow (Le Cap in Toulouse, fête de l’Huma in Bordeaux and Tomato Fiesta in Marmande with « The Rabeats ».
