This association, created in Oct. 2001 is aimed at promoting and supporting the creations of musical artists. Indeed, the label Jaba, wishes to get involved on the production field by supporting the development of projects.
The first participants and founders of this structure were the members of pop rock band POC.
At first, this associative label focused its activity on the recording of bands with the creation of a recording studio. For 3 years, the association Jaba has been developing its production area. The goal being the support towards professionnal activity of the bands helped thereby.
JABA is surrounded by professionals of the sector of today's amplified musics to carry its projects through. This networking aspect allows the development of the association's activities.
Since its creation, the label Jaba is supported by Landes Musiques Amplifiées, a departmental professional structure financed by the Conseil Général des Landes, the Conseil Régional d’Aquitaine, and the Drac Aquitaine. the support from LMA is central for the bringing to fruition of these productions.
